About Us

Cain Landscape Studio aims to create functional and esthetic places for each unique space.

Aaron Cain is the founder of Cain Landscape Studio. When designing and creating spaces he combines a background in landscaping with formal education and work abroad.

Influenced by his time working on farms throughout western Canada and Hawaii elements of organic practices and permaculture methods weave their way into the foundation of his designs and practice, always keeping an ecological perspective in sight.

While living in Japan, Aaron worked and studied under a traditional Japanese gardener/ landscaper where he honed his skills in maintenance and installation, working on gardens several hundred years old and creating new ones.

In Canada Aaron has worked primarily on the west coast in Victoria and received formal horticultural and design education.
